The BTS of Ep. 19 & 20 is shorter than usual (usually at least it’s a 2 minutes video) and there’s nothing special as usual. In almost all part of the video we can see clearly that YSH only focused in his acting (script) and being professional.
Both CSB and YSH read their scripts (one for each), but at
00:13 CSB asked him about the script so YSH explained to her.

the director shouted “cut” and YSH turned at CSB, he
saw something on CSB hair (wig) so he picked it (well-mannered YSH). As usual
her wig is always causing a problem.

CSB laughed, but from the camera angle (behind YSH) YSH didn’t seem to laugh
with her.

it’s a part of filming. YSH stroked CSB head. I don’t
know about you guys, but I don’t really feel something special about it. It’s
kind of brother-sister chemistry (for me). Besides, it’s just acting, a part of
scene (filming). If you asked me, why did seungho only moved his thumb during
the “stroking head” scene, it’s because the wig. If he stroked the hair by all
of his fingers or by moved his palm, it would ruin the wig. Actually at 00:45
seungho stroked with all of his fingers (palm) but he kind of realized that the
wig was shifted. See at 00:47 the wig was also shifted a little bit when YSH
stroked the top of CSB head. So, after that he only moved his thumb.

YSH was busy blocking the snow, and at 01:06 he turned
to CSB and reached out his hand to take his jacket, because I think the PD
asked them to re take the scene.

YSH did it again, blocked the fake snow with his hands,
but he just slightly laughed and didn’t blocked the snow for CSB. He turned
away and walked first without waited for her.
See? Nothing special happened in the last episode BTS (as
usual). The vibe is just
professional and a little bit serious.
Keep being positive.
If something bad happens, it's OK, don't keep yourself feeling down. You will find a mood booster that will make you feel better. And just believe something good will be happen after bad things.(it's always like that with our shyshy couple).
And if there is something that makes you happy, be happy but remember to keep protecting your shipper heart.

ReplyDeleteOne thing that come to my mind, if you all noticed, at the year end awards others otp having reunion and the fans are hyping them up, and fortunately for them, they get all sweet moments that they wished for unlike us whose been so unlucky lol we are the only otp shipper that end our year with disapointment:'( and again left with only crumbs to hyping our otp, the sad reality of shyshy shipperπ but i feel that our shyshy couple definitely AGAINST ALL THE ODDS and same goes to us, that's why we need to protect our heart not to get our hope too high and don't expect too much..maybe ours shyshy couple miracles will happen out of the blue lol, who knows right :)
But after a rough and tough journey, i believed there's always lights at the end of the tunnel ❤
The journey will be bittersweet guys but once we believe in our shyshy couple we should trust and have faith in them π

Thumbs up for the analysis! You know I watched this BTS on Instagram and noticed that it seemed scripted like they are really trying to sell their coupling and chemistry so viewers would watch to see if they really compliment each other in the show.
ReplyDelete@YourHighness, I generally find most of IANAR's BTS look scripted and unnatural. Definitely MBC tried their hardest to sell the OTP chemistry. I guess, they have some success since there are fans that did buy it.
DeleteWell true. But only people who have not seen Seung Ho with KSH bought the IANAR chemistry PR. If only they'd seen our couples BTS, they would have known what real unscripted chemistry looks like. I still smile over YSH worrying about KSH getting hurt during the sword fighting making.

That and the Ocean kiss BTS is one of my favs. YSH's feelings were so obvious! Generally when he kisses his costar, either he laughs embarrassed or he looks away and prepares for a retake. With KSH, he stared at her, like he was trying to search her gaze for her feelings.❤️_❤️

BTW guys, some shipper on IANAR thread commented on how she has never seen YSH so happy with any of his costar and my first thought was, ofcourse, it's all scripted and then I wondered if she payed attention to Ruler BTS. LOL Poor things, if only they knew the difference between how he treated KSH and how he treats CSB.

DeleteAbout how YSH looks happy in IANAR, actually the similar comments were given for KSH too. Some KSH's fans commented on how she looked way happier in other drama (especially in LFG) than in Ruler. Actually i think that comparison is kinda irrelevant because LFG and IANAR are modern romantic comedy (plus fantasy genre in LFG), so it's understandable if the environment were lighter and cheerier. If not, wouldn't that be terrible?
Meanwhile Ruler was a melo-saeguk with heavy political issue. They both have to portray many emotional scenes for 40eps-long, the concentration was needed to maintain the emotion, so would people expect them to nostoply laugh here and there? Not to mention the extreme weather they must go through. The tiredness was extremely real. Even so, seeing YSH-KSH laugh and smile throughout the BTS was enough for me to know that they were enjoyed the filming.
And ofcourse i'm agree with your opinion, the way YSH-CSB are being 100% aware of that "bts cameramen" is a proof that it's not purely "behind the scene"

Yeah it's pretty obvious that IANAR BTS is scripted. They release 1-2 every episode to grab eye balls since the ratings are drowning. Underhanded but understandable.
most IANAR shippers haven't watched Ruler, they're YSH new fans, so I guess they still don't know much about him. So, let them watch Ruler (especially BTS, Vlive, Presscon and read the iv), they will relize which one is real
Deleteagree with @Loveiskim , we can't compare YSH adn KSH happiness just by seeing their character in drama, or by the drama genre.
Instead we can see how happy they were during Ruler filming (Vlive and all the BTS showed us about it) despite the fact that Ruler is melo-sageuk. Even Dispatch said that their interactions in Vlive were sweeter than drama.

ReplyDeleteFor those who watched the BTS before/without watching the episode, the actions shown in the BTS can totally be misleading. There were so many sweet moments shown in the BTS that were actually captured during filming, i.e. while YSH-CSB were in still in character. Though i must admit, if i was a regular viewer who have yet to check out IANAR, that BTS would have made me curious enough to check out the show. So kudos to MBC if such tricks actually help to boost the ratings.
