EPISODE 7 – 8

The kiss scene BTS only took 38 seconds of 5 minutes video, and I only get the “professional” vibe from it.

The video starts with the rehearsal for the movement and dialogues.

When they tried to build a perfect mood, YDJ joked to make it less serious So Hyun laughed, but as we can see that she didn’t giggle a lot.

It’s the scene in Soo Ho’s house. They laughed when they did the rehearsal when SGR asked JSH if he made all of the dishes and JSH said he ordered them, but the way he answered was so assertive, that’s why they laughed.

KDY came and tasted the “wine” he said random things to make him looked like a wine tester. So Hyun laughed a bit because actually it was not wine but grape juice. He was there because in that scene, his character and JSH’s mom came when SGR and JSH ate.

So Hyun laughed several times, because it was really hard to cut the steak. Even YDJ said that the steak was like a stone and basalt.

It’s a rehearsal for the scene. At 03:39 when YDJ joked and tried to change his hand position So Hyun laughed again because  the director said, “it’s like a kidnapping”. At 03:34 So Hyun laughed again because YDJ’s stomach growled. So Hyun laughed several times because YDJ made a joke, something like, “I am a gentleman” (because his hands didn’t touch So Hyun), and "it's new feeling (to be in a cupboard)"

This part showed mostly about “bromance” between YDJ and YP. They kept making jokes while they were doing the rehearsal, so So Hyun also laughed along with them.

                                  

EPISODE 9 – 10

003 – 01:19

This part of the video showed the bromance of the actors (YDJ, YP, KDY, and JBG). So Hyun laughed a lot because the scene was a funny scene, and she kept making NG (the one who supposed to lose was YDJ and drank the soju, but So Hyun was the one who kept losing). That’s why YDJ gave her a glass of soju whenever she lost.

They practice the scene when JSH drunk and carried by SGR and LK. KSH laughed hard because at 01:32 because YDJ said he was like being arrested. The three of them kept laughing because YDJ and YP kept joking around (like YDJ who opened his coat (naughty hand)), and YP who kept talking and made jokes like an ajae (ahjussi) but YDJ and So Hyun couldn’t get what he meant.

The kiss scene (it's only less than a minute of 5 minute video), mostly it’s about scene. The rehearsal, discussion and when they filmed it. If they looked a little bit shy, that’s normal. Seung Ho said in IANAR interview, for all actors it’s normal to feel shy when they filming romantic scene but as the camera start to film the scene, they become professional and don’t feel shy. So Hyun broke the kiss right after the director shouted "OK", even at 04:52 she already pulled back a little bit (before the director shouthed)

It’s still like previous BTS of Radio Romance. In off screen, the bromance is kind of stronger than the romance. And the BTS was not only about YDJ-KSH. Also, So Hyun back to her old self, where she was the one who was always being teased. In Ruler, when she already became so much closer to Seung Ho, she didn’t hesitate to tease him first.
In Ruler, sometimes So Hyun giggled just because she was together with Seung Ho and it made him giggled along with her. But in Radio Romance, she laughed because the jokes or the funny scenes.

Actually, if someone said that So Hyun or Seung Ho was happier in their recent drama than in Ruler, it doesn't mean that they were not happy in Ruler. I already explained about it on Yoo Seung Ho ❤️ Kim So Hyun 5

And as what we discussed on the forum, YSH–KSH only had less than 2 hours of scene together from a total 20+ hours of Ruler. But it's amazing, how they showed their great chemistry, how they make us believe in them even until now, and they could get closer and comfortable with each other.

Unlike in other dramas where they were happy because the genre, the script, the scenes and all of the cast (simply, in other dramas they were being happy not because of certain "someone"), in Ruler they felt happy because of each other. Being together with each other were already a happiness for them.
